- The children participated in a range of activities, including our CAFOD workshop, to mark our latest Caritas in Action Day – Solidarity for the Common Good
- During our recent British Day, the children learned about different aspects of British culture
- Reception class paid a second visit to their counterparts at St. Mary’s, Horwich, whilst St. Mary’s children spent the morning at St. Ethelbert’s
- A group of Y5 children continue to visit MSJ to take part in a literacy and maths programme for Gifted and Talented pupils
- A love of books and reading was promoted on World Book Day
- Y3 visited the Chester Deva Museum as part of their topic on Romans
- Y1 & Y2 visited Skipton Castle
- In RE, the children learned about another world religion – Judaism. They were visited by Jeremy, a practising Jew, who told them all about his beliefs and traditions
