Fairtrade Fortnight

The GIFT team organised a lunchtime board games club during Fairtrade Fortnight, to raise awareness of the issues facing farmers and growers in developing countries.

The children also played the game at Miss Bridge’s after-school activity club.

In addition, Fairtrade goods were sold at our KS2 tuck shop, whilst pupils from Thornleigh sold items made by villagers in Kenya, as part of their Mama Margaret’s charity work.
